About the Event

Symphonic Alternative Rock – An Evening of Modern Melodies

A special concert dedicated to the unforgettable melodies of the past twenty years. “Symphonic Alternative Rock” is an elegant and refreshing tribute to some of the most iconic songs of the alternative scene, newly arranged in instrumental, refined orchestral versions performed by the United Soloists Orchestra.

This is not a rock concert in the traditional sense: no excessive volume, no wild atmosphere. Instead, expect a relaxing, enjoyable, and emotionally rich evening, perfect for an audience that appreciates great music and wishes to rediscover these songs in an intimate, symphonic form.

A true emotional journey, where familiar melodies shine in a new orchestral light.

About the Orchestra

Described by the press as “the ensemble that revolutionizes music in Europe” (Ticino Welcome), the United Soloists Orchestra is a Swiss symphonic ensemble founded in 2017 in Ticino. The ensemble unites young virtuoso soloists from Europe’s most prestigious institutions, including the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, Teatro alla Scala and the Royal Concertgebouw.

Radically different from a traditional orchestra, the project is celebrated for breaking down the boundaries between musical genres. Their performances are described as an “explosion of life” (laRegione), combining the highest technical level with a mature, solid and highly expressive sound. In their unique programming, Beethoven dialogues with the Bee Gees and Tchaikovsky embraces Coldplay — creating an atmosphere where, as the media writes, “it is not just music: it is magic!” (Ticino Welcome).
