"Music Nowadays" is a concert taking place during the 2021-2022 season at the Teatro Sociale in Bellinzona and presented by the United Soloists Orchestra. The concept of the concert is to showcase contemporary music by living composers from our region (Canton Ticino) to the audience. The program features established composers as well as young and emerging talents. The program order is interactive, varying the ensemble's lineup and musical styles to keep the audience attentive and surprised. The music is catchy, with styles ranging from experimental sounds and jazz to minimalism, classical, and film music. Some pieces are specially composed for this concert, offering the audience a live world premiere, while others are performed by the composers themselves as soloists.
