About the Orchestra

Described by the press as “the ensemble that revolutionizes music in Europe” (Ticino Welcome), the United Soloists Orchestra is a Swiss symphonic ensemble founded in 2017 in Ticino. The ensemble unites young virtuoso soloists from Europe’s most prestigious institutions, including the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, Teatro alla Scala and the Royal Concertgebouw.

Radically different from a traditional orchestra, the project is celebrated for breaking down the boundaries between musical genres. Their performances are described as an “explosion of life” (laRegione), combining the highest technical level with a mature, solid and highly expressive sound. In their unique programming, Beethoven dialogues with the Bee Gees and Tchaikovsky embraces Coldplay — creating an atmosphere where, as the media writes, “it is not just music: it is magic!” (Ticino Welcome).

Please note: This is a seated concert, and every guest has an assigned seat. However, based on our experience, after the first few songs many people usually stand up and dance. If you think this might disturb your experience, we recommend choosing seats in the front row of the balcony.
