Special evening on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the reopening
of the Cinema Teatro di Chiasso 2001-2021

The renowned jazz pianist Stefano Bollani, along with Gabriele Evangelista, Bernardo Guerra and the United Soloists Orchestra conducted by Arseniy Shkaptsov, will be the protagonists of this special event – a Swiss premiere – celebrating this important milestone for the Cinema Teatro, while also opening the 2021-2022 theatrical season.
The program "From Gershwin to Bollani" will be dedicated to the fusion of classical music and jazz: from the first composer who united the typical melodies of the "new" continent with traditional European symphonic orchestration, George Gershwin, to Stefano Bollani with his brand new Concerto Verde for piano and orchestra (2019). An evening of great music, in the company of one of the most popular names in the contemporary repertoire.
