Biography
Pablo Ruiz Maqueda is a Spanish horn player based in Lugano, currently in the second and final year of the Master of Arts in Music Performance at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana, studying with Jorge Monte de Fez.
He previously studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón in Zaragoza and completed a SEMP exchange at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana.
His performance experience includes collaborations with the Orquesta y Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid, the Civica Filarmonica di Lugano, the Orquesta Sinfónica Ciudad de Zaragoza, and the Banda Municipal de Música de Soria. In chamber music, he is active with Ensemble Oniric, performing among others at the Fundación Juan March in Madrid.
Alongside his playing career, he pursues a Master in Musical Research at the Universidad Internacional de Valencia, bringing an analytical perspective to crossover performance.
