Marina Boselli is a tuba/euphonium soloist with USO, credited in her training with top marks and Lode from the Conservatorio “Guido Cantelli” of Novara. Her education includes the Academic Diplomas in Euphonium under M° Corrado Colliard, followed by an Academic Diploma in “Musica d’Insieme” at the Conservatorio “Giuseppe Verdi” in Milan with Mª Monica Cattarossi.
She has won multiple national and international competitions, including the Premio Nazionale delle Arti and the VTEC Solo Euphonium Competition (USA). Her career also features performances in prominent seasons and collaborations with institutions such as Teatro alla Scala, Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, and the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano.
A dedicated advocate of contemporary language, she has presented in world premiere more than 30 new compositions for euphonium, including “Un azzurro intenso, senza pietà” by Leonardo Damiani for euphonium and orchestra. She records for Stradivarius with her first CD “Kinetic Valves”, and with Canaja Brass has released “UN”, alongside a new commission for brass quintet by Alessio Manega.
