Kamil Mukhametdinov is a cellist with United Soloists Orchestra, recognized through multiple competition prizes, including the S. N. Knushevitsky Open Competition (1st Prize).
He studied at the Special Secondary Music School of the Kazan State Conservatory with Irina Lapteva, and later at the State Conservatory of Kazan named after N. G. Zhiganov. From 2019 to 2021 he completed an assistantship-internship with Irina Lapteva and Boris Andrianov. From 2022 to 2025 he continued his studies at the Haute École de Musique de Genève in the class of Ophélie Gaillard.
His public appearances include performing with the Turkish National Youth Symphony Orchestra in January 2012, and attending masterclass and summer programs such as the Sviatoslav Richter Foundation Summer School (summer 2012) and the Landesmusikakademie in Engers (summer 2014). Since 2014, he has been a soloist for the St. Petersburg House of Music within the “River of Talents,” “Generation Next,” and “Russian Musical Team” programmes, and he has participated in the “Embassies of Mastery” projects.
Across his repertoire—from Baroque to contemporary works—Muhametdinov brings a versatile, ensemble-ready musical approach shaped by sustained intensive training and international performance experience.
