Giuliano Molino, trombone at United Soloist Orchestra, brings 1st absolute prize and prize for best performance from “La Vallonea” (2006) to a repertoire that spans classic and contemporary styles.
He began trumpet studies at age ten under Maestro Carmelo Fede, then entered the Conservatorio Vincenzo Bellini in Catania at eleven. He earned his trumpet diploma in 2008/2009, followed by a Master of second level in interpretive and compositional direction in 2012/2013.
During his conservatory years, he collaborated with the youth orchestra of the Bellini Institute, ERSU Catania ensembles and brass groups including Italian Brass Band and Jazzlab, sustaining long-term activity across classical and modern fields. He was also invited to collaborate on world-premiere performances of modern compositions with Maestro Joe Schittino.
Since 2018, Molino plays regularly with United Soloist Orchestra, tackling repertoire from classical music to contemporary pop, while also collaborating with groups such as Joe Dallas and The Monks.
