Biography
Elisa Netzer, USO harpist, is described as an “extraordinary talent” by BBC Music Magazine.
She studied with Judith Liber, Skaila Kanga and Fabrice Pierre. Elisa Netzer earned a Bachelor with honours at the Conservatorio di Parma, a Master with distinction at the Royal Academy of Music in London, a second-level Master at the Conservatorio di Milano, and a Master in musical pedagogy at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana.
Recent highlights include being the first harpist to debut as a soloist at the Lucerne Festival, representing Switzerland at the World Harp Congress in Hong Kong, and releasing her first recording Toccata with Naxos in 2018, welcomed by critics and audiences.
For USO’s crossover work, she brings an unmistakably expressive playing style and a steady commitment to connecting broader audiences with classical music through concerts, radio/TV appearances and writing.
