Biography
Andrea Masciarelli is a violinist at the United Soloists Orchestra, whose training includes graduating in violin with full marks at the Conservatorio “G. Verdi” di Milano.
He studied at the Conservatorio “L. d’Annunzio” di Pescara and then completed his triennial degree and specialist degree in violin at the Conservatorio “G. Verdi” di Milano. In 2017 he attended an Erasmus period at the JVLMA di Riga, and in 2019 pursued further post-graduate studies at the Conservatorio “A. Vivaldi” di Alessandria.
Since 2018, Masciarelli has been a stable member of the Baltic Sea Philharmonic, performing across Europe in venues such as the Berliner Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie and Mariinsky II. From 2019 to 2022 he was part of the Orchestra dell’Accademia del Teatro alla Scala, appearing at Teatro alla Scala and at Dubai Expo under prominent conductors. He has collaborated with the Orchestra “Antonio Vivaldi” and I Pomeriggi Musicali, and has recorded for Sony Classical and Deutsche Grammophon.
At USO, he brings the precision of top-level symphonic experience together with versatile performance formats—now extending also into his role as Production Manager—supporting USO’s crossover projects and touring.
