Biography

Jonathan Norani, born in 1984, began studying the saxophone at the age of 15 under the guidance of Maestro Giorgio Magistrelli. His passion for jazz and contemporary music led him to pursue studies at the Civic Jazz School of Trezzano sul Naviglio with Maestro Massimo Maltese. He later completed his education at the Civic Jazz Courses at the Claudio Abbado Conservatory, graduating with honors. Along the way, he participated in masterclasses for saxophone and composition with renowned musicians such as Tullio Ricci, Tino Tracanna, Emanuele Cisi, and Hans Zimmer for composition. Jonathan regularly performs with ensembles and as a touring musician for artists like Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet), Connie Talbot, Maggie Reilly, Pupo, Roy Paci, Mika, and others. He is also active as a composer, creating soundtracks for documentaries (Entiendo, Moto for Peace) and theater productions (Interruzioni by Gianna Coletti).
