Biography
Vivien Vincze is a fagottist with United Soloists, recognized with a special prize at the first edition of the György Keszler National Memorial Competition (2019).
She began playing at eight and was introduced to the bassoon by Zoltan Hotzi. From age 15, she studied with Lívia Vizsolyi, continuing with her through university. At the Faculty of Music of the University of Debrecen, she studied as a student of Dr. Mihály Duffek. In 2019, she was admitted to the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, working under the guidance of Gabor Meszaros.
During her Debrecen period, she performed with the Kodály Philharmonic, collaborating with conductors including Tamás Vásáry, Imre Kollár, László Kovács and Dániel Somogyi-Tóth. In Switzerland, she has taken part in orchestral and chamber projects with conductors such as Arturo Tamayo, Christoph König, Diego Fasolis, Marc Kissòczy, Philippe Bach and Markus Poschner, contributing also to the Lugano Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra United Soloists, the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana and the Kammerphilharmonie Graubünden.
Alongside performance, Vivien Vincze has completed a Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy (2023) and has taught since 2021 at the Scuola di Musica della Svizzera Italiana in Mendrisio.
