Tommaso Angelini is a violinist with solid classical training and an open ear for the cross-pollination of musical languages. He began his studies in his hometown at the Scuola di Musica "P. Giannetti" in Grosseto, nurturing alongside tradition a strong interest in popular music, folk, and the urban universe, in dialogue with dance and visual arts.
After graduating from the Istituto "R. Franci" in Siena, he furthered his training at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, where he was selected as the principal among the second violins in the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana, and continued with the Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini under Maestro Riccardo Muti. His international path is consolidated with a Master of Arts in Music Performance at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, along with studies at the Hochschule di Lucerna.
Active in chamber music and winner of numerous competitions, since 2020 he has explored contemporary tango with B.A.M.A.S. Tango Quintet (awarded at the International Music Competition "Astor Piazzolla") and Tango Spleen Orchesta. More recently, he has collaborated as a soloist with the SaxMeet Ensemble and created the multimedia project "VIGILIA", receiving the Diamond Prize at the Couperin International Music Competition.
An active Suzuki method teacher, he also devotes himself to education, teaching in the Como area and developing orchestral projects and youth campus initiatives such as Archibaleno and Campus Insieme per Archi.
