Giulio Tosatti (Percussion) is a USO percussionist and producer/DJ, with a diploma in percussion from the Conservatorio “G. Cantelli” di Novara and further study through an Erasmus scholarship.
He began drums at the age of seven and, in 2010/11, received an Erasmus studio scholarship at the Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium in Aarhus, deepening his work with electronic music at the DIEM. His training spans classical percussion, Afro-Cuban music, and West African music, studied directly in Cuba, Senegal, and Togo.
Tosatti has performed in major artistic venues including Teatro La Fenice (Venice) and Teatro alla Scala (Milan), and has taken part in numerous festivals across Italy and Europe.
For USO’s crossover projects, he brings a rhythm-first perspective shaped by classical, contemporary, electronic, and world music—channelled through his producer/DJ work under the project Kassie Afò and his club-culture approach to percussive research.
