Diego Pugliese is a violinist with USO who brings a Diploma V.O. in Violin alongside a solid background in ancient music, electronics and sound engineering.
He holds a Diploma Accademico di II Livello in Electronic Music from the Conservatorio Verdi in Milan, and the Diploma V.O. in Violin from Piccinni in Bari.
Across his career, he has collaborated in audio and AV production, releasing records both as performer and sound engineer with Elledici, Paoline, EMA Vinci, Sconfinarte and Universal, while co-founding the Collettivo Anecoia and the cooperative WE Ensemble. As a violinist—often in the role of Spalla—he has worked with Italian Lirico-Sinfoniche formations including Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, Orchestra Vivaldi, Orchestra Sinfonica di Bari and Orchestra Filarmonica Calamani. His Soundtracks for advertising, short films and documentaries, and his electroacoustic compositions—winners of electronic and contemporary music competitions—were shown at the Italian Pavilion of Expo Milano 2015.
At USO, he combines performance sensitivity with an audio-driven vision for crossover projects.
