Daniele Delfino is the percussionist (Percussioni) at United Soloists Orchestra, with a solid foundation in Jazz Drums and both academic levels completed at Civica Scuola di Musica “Claudio Abbado” of Milan.
He studied classical percussion at middle music schools and continued at Liceo Musicale “Piero Gobetti” in Omegna under M. Matteo Manzini and Maria Luisa Pizzighella. For Jazz Drums, he studied with Maestro Tony Arco at Civica Scuola di Musica “Claudio Abbado” in Milan, completing the first- and second-level academic cycles (both “110 e lode”). He also passed the Trinity College of London exam Grade 8 in Drum Kit.
Since 2015 he has performed actively across Italy with artists from different backgrounds. His path includes masterclasses such as Bob Moses’s (with Marco Volpe) and collaboration with the project Zimbo-ita, where he became a member in 2019. He has played as a drummer for Enrico Intra’s show “Puppets Jazz”, and has been part of the Civica Jazz Orchestra directed by Luca Missiti.
At USO, Daniele brings the rhythmic discipline of jazz drumming alongside an ability to adapt to cross-genre settings and live theatrical formats.
