Chorche Manso Tomey is a bassoonist at United Soloists Orchestra, and began playing the instrument at the age of nine in the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Zaragoza.
He studied there with María José Moreno, and later continued at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón with Carlos Tarancón and Higinio Arrué. In Lugano, he pursued a Master in Bassoon Performance and a Master Advanced in Bassoon Performance at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana with Gabor Meszaros.
During his time in Switzerland, he performed with major regional orchestras across Ticino and Graubünden, including the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, the Kammerphilarmonie Graubünden, and the Orchestra da Camera di Lugano—as well as with the United Soloist Orchestra. He has also collaborated with orchestras in Italy and Spain, including the Orchestra Filarmonica Pozzoli, the Orchestra da Camera Canova and the Orquesta Reino de Aragón.
His work spans opera productions such as Turandot, Cosi fan tutte, Il Flauto Magico, Il Campanello, Mavra, and La Voix Humaine, and he has appeared as a soloist at the Ticino Musica Festival (2022–2024).
