Andrea Carnicelli was born in Rome on 26 January 1999 and has been passionate about the trombone since the age of three — the instrument that has accompanied his entire musical and professional path.
He graduated with top marks, 110 cum laude, from the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali Giulio Briccialdi in Terni under Massimiliano Costanzi, then completed his Master’s degree at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in Lugano with Enzo Turriziani.
He has played with several national and international orchestras, including the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana (OSI), performing in prestigious venues such as the Teatro Flavio Vespasiano in Rieti, the LAC in Lugano, the KKL in Lucerne and the RSI Auditorium.
His repertoire ranges from classical to contemporary music, both in orchestra and as a soloist, and he continues to refine his craft and work with renowned musical institutions.
