Biography
Edoardo Maria Pedrelli (Cesena, 2001) began his musical journey studying the piano before dedicating himself to the oboe at the age of nine. He graduated with top marks from the Conservatorio 'B. Maderna' in Cesena (2018) and earned his Bachelor’s degree with honors and academic mention from the Conservatorio 'G. Rossini' in Pesaro (2022). In 2020, he obtained his classical maturity at 'V. Monti' in Cesena. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Music Performance at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, after refining his skills with Maestro Francesco Di Rosa at the Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna (SOLO Music). He is the principal second oboe at the Rossini Symphony Orchestra and the World Youth Orchestra. He has participated in international tours in Vietnam, China, and, soon, Thailand. He has performed as a soloist with the FORM orchestra, the Gioacchino Orchestra, and the Rossini Philharmonic. He also won the XVI 'Premio Nazionale delle Arti' (oboe section) and received a scholarship from the Rossini Conservatory. He has gained experience as an oboe instructor at the 'G. Marconi' High School in Pesaro (2021/2022) and as a music teacher at the Coop. Soc. 'Il Bosco' (2022/2023). His main instrument is a Marigaux 901.
