Biography

Livia Graziano began studying the violin at the age of 8 at the Music School of the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana under the guidance of Jocelyne Helfenberger and later Katalin Major. Between 2010 and 2015, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Music and then her Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy at the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana, studying under Valery Gradow and Klaidi Sahatci. She then attended the 'Training Year for Orchestra Professors' at the Accademia alla Scala in Milan and the 'Advanced Training Course for String Quartets' at the Stauffer Academy in Cremona, along with the Epos Quartet. She has participated in numerous orchestral projects under the direction of conductors such as A. Lombard, V. Ashkenazy, J. Neschling, D. Iorio, A. Vedernikov, Z. Mehta, and F. Luisi. In 2010, she won 1st prize at the 'Swiss Regional Youth Music Competition,' securing 2nd prize in the final stage of the same competition, and in 2014, she won 1st prize at the 'Antonio Salieri Competition' in Legnago. She currently works as a violin teacher at the Music School of the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana and collaborates with the United Soloists Orchestra and the Lugano Chamber Orchestra.
